Due to tremendous positive response to the Montgomery County Clean Energy Rewards program, at this time all available funds have been allocated. Customers already enrolled in the program will continue to earn rewards for clean energy used. Should you enroll with WGES in a service offering with wind power, you may not receive Clean Energy Rewards from Montgomery County. However, additional rewards will be available starting in the fall.

CLEAN ENERGY REWARDS is one way Montgomery County, Maryland is helping its residents, business, and community organizations decrease their impact on our environment. By choosing clean energy from WGES you are decreasing the amount of greenhouse gases you emit and making a positive impact on your environment.
The CER offer, when additional funding is made available again, is available only for PEPCO/BGE Residential and PEPCO/BGE/Allegheny Power Commercial customers in Montgomery County, Maryland. Enrollment is subject to verification by WGES and the Local Utility. To qualify for Clean Energy Rewards, you must purchase at least 50% of your home or business electric use from qualifying renewable electricity sources.
