Washington Gas Energy Services, Inc. (WGES) is a subsidiary of WGL Holdings, and is an affiliate of the natural gas utility, Washington Gas. WGES served its first customer in 1996 and now serves over 238,000 customers throughout the region. Small Commercial

Eligibility

Natural Gas: Commercial (non-residential) account using less than 40,000 annual therms/CCFs which approximates a total annual gas bill of less than $70,000. Electricity: Commercial (non-residential) account using less than 600,000 annual kilo-watt hours which approximates a total annual electricity bill of less than $70,000. WGES uses the account's historical billing and usage data, obtained by WGES from Customer's natural gas or electricity utility, for verifying the account's annual usage. If WGES finds the account's annual usage exceeds the maximum annual usage level subsequent to WGES commencing natural gas or electricity supply deliveries to the account, WGES may cease such deliveries effective at the account's next applicable meter reading, and, in that instance Customer shall be obligated to pay the Posted Price for deliveries made plus an additional charge of $1,000. The Posted Price shall be the price posted on the WGES web site that is applicable to an eligible Customer. WGES retains sole right to waive Eligibility Criteria.
