WGES
WGES Customer Consultant Program

Presently, there are over 35 customer consultants that work directly with Washington Gas Energy Services, Inc. (WGES) to supply customers with deregulated natural gas, electricity and renewable energy.

The primary responsibility of WGES customer consultants is to orchestrate energy supply agreements between large commercial end-user customers and WGES.

There are 4 main components of the WGES Customer Consultant Program:

1. WGES Customer Consultant Application
If you are interested in becoming a WGES Customer Consultant, to initiate the process you would need to complete and submit a WGES Customer Consultant Application. You can submit this application directly online or download a hard copy (PDF) version and fax it to WGES at
703-793-0668. Apply online or download the application using the link at left.

2. WGES Customer Consultant Agreement (Base Agreement)
All WGES Customer Consultants are required to execute the standard WGES Customer Consultant Agreement. This Agreement stipulates the responsibilities and requirements for both WGES and the WGES Customer Consultant applicant. Additionally, this Agreement specifies the quarterly payment process that WGES utilizes to pay commission fees. If you would like to review a sample Customer Consultant Agreement, please contact Tracy Gallant at WGES.

3. WGES Customer Consultant Addendum
For each deal (Confirmation Contract) the Customer Consultant arranges between WGES and the end-user customer, WGES will issue an addendum that will stipulate the commission fee that will be paid on the customer accounts contracted by WGES. The performance of each addendum is tied to the requirements of the WGES Customer Consultant Agreement. If you would like to review a sample Customer Consultant Addendum, please contact Tracy Gallant at WGES.

4. WGES End-User Supply Contract
For each contract deal arranged by the Customer Consultant, WGES also executes an end-user contract with the customer. The contract documentation that WGES executes directly with the customer includes a Base Agreement and a Confirmation Contract. The Base Agreement is not "account specific". The Base Agreement stipulates the requirements and responsibilities for both WGES and the Customer for all Confirmation Contracts executed between WGES and the Customer. The Confirmation Contract is account specific. As noted in Section 3 above, each Confirmation Contract has a corresponding Customer Consultant Addendum associated with it. If you would like to review a sample End-User Contract, please contact Tracy Gallant at WGES.
