Due to tremendous positive response to the Montgomery County Clean Energy Rewards program, all available funds have been allocated at this time. Should you enroll with WGES in a service offering with wind power, you may not receive Clean Energy Rewards from Montgomery County.
Customers already enrolled in the program will continue to earn rewards for clean energy used for as long as program funding is available. Clean Energy Rewards is a Montgomery County funded program and rewards are subject to available county funding. The County's fiscal year is from July 1st to June 30th.
Sign-up for Wind Power Now:You will not receive Clean Energy Rewards for the clean energy used (0.5¢ per kilowatt-hour).

CLEAN ENERGY REWARDS is one way Montgomery County, Maryland is helping its residents, businesses, and community organizations decrease their impact on our environment.
Thanks to the thousands of participants who have enrolled in Clean Energy Rewards, county residents, businesses, and community organizations have avoided over 68,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions through the purchase of clean energy.
The CER offer, when additional funding is made available again, is only for PEPCO/BGE/Allegheny Power residential and commercial customers in Montgomery County. Enrollment is subject to verification by WGES and the local utility. To qualify for Clean Energy Rewards you must purchase at least 50% of your home or business electricity from qualifying renewable electricity sources.
