Consumers Encouraged to Sign Up Now for Clean Energy

Residents, businesses and organizations are urged to sign up now for Montgomery County’s Clean Energy Rewards Program which helps consumers defer some of the cost of using clean energy. The award-winning program was so popular when it began in 2007 that the demand for rewards outstripped the available funds within the first year. The Montgomery County Council has now allocated an additional $200,000 to the program. New energy products are also available that provide consumers with more energy choices.
