WGES supports Repowering America. One Home, One School, One Business at a time.

As part of a National Day of Service initiated by incoming President Barack Obama, WGES teamed up with contractors and a manufacturer to install a solar power array at Sousa Middle School in Southeast Washington, DC.

By helping to fund this project, not only did we show students the value of getting involved but also demonstrated how repowering existing facilities can stimulate the troubled economy and reduce the carbon footprint of the community WGES serves.
